Position Overview:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the customer experience
by developing robust APIs and services using Java and related technologies. You will also
contribute to road mapping, debugging production issues, and ensuring system
performance while leveraging modern tools and frameworks like Maven, Docker, AWS,
and CI/CD pipelines for efficient development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Development s Delivery:
   • Build a great customer experience forthe clients using our services.
   • Design, develop, and optimize APIs and backend services using Java, Spring MVC, and Spring Bootframeworks.
   • Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.

2. Roadmap Execution:
   • Plan and implementtechnical roadmaps that balance business needs, user experience, and long-term sustainability.
   • Make smart technical decisions that align with company goals and priorities.

3. Debugging s Optimization:
   • Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack.
   • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to optimize end-to-end service
   performance.

4. Infrastructure s Automation:
   • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
   • Use Dockerfor containerization to streamline application deployment and scalability.
   • Leverage AWS services for hosting, scalability, and monitoring of applications.

5. Collaboration:
   • Partner with customers and cross-functional stakeholders across Mobito deliver value through a collaborative approach.
   • Contribute to your peers' success by working across workstreams and supporting
   team goals.

• Represent the customer experience in decision-making forums to drive the right outcomes.
• Focus on the needs of internal and external users while delivering solutions.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on professional experience in designing and developing APIs and services.

• Proficiency in Java, SQL, and frameworks like SpringMVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.

• Experience working with databases like MySQL and Oracle, with the ability to write and optimize queries.

• Hands-on experience with Maven, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with AWS for deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment.

• Strong software engineering skills and a passion for solving complex problems.

• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across teams and contribute to shared success.

• Customer-first mindset, with the ability to articulate and represent customer experience in various forums.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with JSP and frontend tools is an added advantage.

• Experience optimizing the end-to-end performance of services.
